         We invite you to the "Information Days" organized by the staff of Reading Room No. 8 of the Library and Information Center!
From February 24 to March 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM - for the Faculty of Philology and Humanities, Departments of "Kazakh Language and Literature," "Russian Language and Literature," and "World Languages."
       Here you can familiarize yourself with new arrivals related to educational programs, traditional and electronic literature, periodicals, the structure of the library website http://lib.dulaty.kz/ , as well as explore the possibilities of the library's electronic catalog http://e-lib.dulaty.kz/  (IRBIS64+).

CAMPAIGN "ONE COUNTRY - ONE BOOK - 2025!"

Dear Readers!

         We invite you to a round table on February 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM on the topic: "Star of Poetry – Zhumeken," dedicated to the work of  Zhumeken Nazhimedenov on the eve of the 90th anniversary of the renowned poet, recipient of the state award in the genre of poetry, in anticipation of the campaign "One Country - One Book."
         The goal of this republican campaign is to promote Kazakh literature, awaken interest in reading, provide opportunities for exploring Kazakhstan's literary heritage, foster the spiritual and intellectual development of the younger generation, and enhance respect for the native language.
         Venue: Library and Information Center,  Reading Room No. 5 (Building 4.1, Tole Bi St., 68).

ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear faculty members,young researchers, and students!

   

      The library collection of the Library and Information Center has been enriched with a historical-documentary collection in 12 volumes titled "The Alash Orda аffair. 1920–1940. Documents and Materials."
      This multi-volume work presents investigative documents that are stored in the closed archives of the National Security Committee, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, concerning the Alash Orda leaders—figures of the Kazakh national liberation movement—and their associates in the struggle for national statehood.
     Over a period of two years, 35 scholars, including historians, archaeographers, and archivists, collected and systematized more than 688,000 documents, including over 3,000 previously unpublished documents and photographs.
     The collection "The Alash Orda Affair. 1920–1940. Documents and Materials" is intended for historians, university lecturers, doctoral candidates, master's students, and undergraduates, as well as anyone interested in the history of Kazakhstan in the 20th century.
