The Library and Information Center of the University of Dulatyhosted the event "University Library in the Digital Environment: Resources, Technologies and Services", dedicated to the World Book and Copyright Day.
  World Book and Copyright Day celebrated annually on April 23. Important aspects of this date are the importance of literature in the spiritual heritage, the need to respect copyright, which is the protection of works of intellectual work.
  The book exhibition featured the publishing brands "Oxford University Press", "Epigraph", "Almanac", "Evero", "Academy". The exhibition presents educational literature in Kazakh, English, and Russian. Representatives of publishing houses introduced the audience to the activities of publishing houses, the services they provide, told about the available electronic resources and their opportunities that they give to users.
   "Artykbilimkitapta" called the meeting of local authors with readers. The meeting was attended by akynsHamitEsaman-own correspondent of the republican newspaper "Egemen Kazakhstan", director of the Zhambyl regional branch of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan and head of the department" Culture and Sports "of the Zhambyl regional newspaper" AkZhol " TabigatAbialdaev. BalmiraMyrzabayeva, Chief Specialist of the “RukhaniZhangyru” project office, moderated the meeting. The participants shared their opinions about literature, the content of books, and readers. The authors read their works.
  The event ended with the author's webinar "How to publish a scientific article in an indexed journal and become a popular author?". It held in an online format. The organizers are the Library and Information Center of Taraz Regional University named after M. H. Dulaty and the company Elsevier B. V. Coach RabigaHozhamkul, MD, MPH, PhD Candidate-Consultant on Central Asia and Azeirbajan. Participants learned about Elsevier's tools for searching for a magazine, analyzing the popularity of authors and articles, and searching for collaborations.
