Dear faculty, young scientists and students!

Until December 2, 2025, our university was given Test access to the world scientific video diary resource JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments). This is a unique resource that has changed the approach to teaching and scientific methodologies in many countries.

    What is JoVE?
JoVE is the largest scientific video platform where experiments, laboratory methods and educational practices are broadcast in professional video format.
Such a format allows you to understand complex processes much faster and more visually than text descriptions.

   Materials available at the test stage:
• videos on biology, chemistry, medicine, engineering, ecology and other areas;
• training kits for students;
• materials for teachers and researchers;
• demonstrations on the use of laboratory techniques and tools.

JoVE Video Journal is the world's first peer-reviewed video journal, its content is indexed in PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, Medline.

Who is it useful for:
• for students and teachers of Natural Science and engineering specialties;
• scientific staff;
• to all users using modern educational video resources.
How to access:
Follow the link (https://jove.com), register through the corporate mail of the University and you can start viewing materials — access is activated automatically.

What is this resource:
• JoVE is a scientific video journal with peer-reviewed techniques focused on the visualization of experiments and laboratory procedures.
• Its mission is to "improve research and education".
• The platform is used by thousands of universities, colleges and companies around the world.
    Main sections:
• Research Section: video journal for researchers and Encyclopedia of methodologies.
• Department of Education: video tutorials for students, materials on laboratory skills, Video Experiments.
• There are also tools for teachers, libraries, and educational institutions.
    Why it might be interesting:
• Video format allows you to see specific actions and manipulations, which often helps to better understand the methodology than text descriptions.
• For libraries or educational institutions: as part of electronic resources, training can be included in the process of support and preparation for laboratory work.
    What should be considered before use:
• Access to full content is usually provided by subscription or through a partner organization. The number of free videos may be limited.
• If you plan to include videos in your own training materials, you need to check the licensing requirements and terms of use.
• The videos are mainly dedicated to STEM areas (biology, chemistry, engineering, etc.), so if your field is not close to these areas, the relevance of the materials may be low.
