Bauyrzhan Momyshuly – Legendary Panfilov Soldier

           On April 24, 2025, the Library and Information Center, in cooperation with the professors and students of the "Philology and Journalism" department, organized a thematic roundtable as part of the project "Aulieata – the Reading Region" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. During the event, the novel "The Battle for Moscow" by Bauyrzhan Momyshuly was read and actively discussed.
        The purpose of the event was to encourage young people to read books, foster patriotic consciousness, and develop spiritual education based on national traditions. The novel "The Battle for Moscow" is the first work in Kazakh literature on the topic of war and serves as a military memoir.
       The event took place in the "Glory" hall of the Victory Park in Taraz. A guest of the event was Bauyrzhan Momyshuly's younger brother, Beket Momynkul, who shared interesting stories about the heroism of the great commander, the legendary Panfilov soldier who was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. In independent Kazakhstan, he was also posthumously declared a People's Hero.
       Alimbay Naizabayev, Senior Research Fellow at the "Bauyrzhantanu" Center of M.Kh. Dulati Taraz University, enthusiastically introduced the students to the content of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly's novel "The Battle for Moscow." He noted that the events described by the author do not conceal the bitter and harsh truths of life. There are no fictional events or characters in this work. It is about events the author witnessed firsthand, about what really happened.
         The students showed great interest, actively sharing their thoughts on the book and asking questions. Second-year student of the "Philology and Journalism" program, Akimzhan Kuanishbekuly, read an excerpt from the novel in the role of a soldier. All participants, influenced by the emotional performance, felt as if they had been transported back to the era of military action.
                        The event was very engaging and interesting.

The World of Gainy the Poetess

   As part of the "Aulie-Ata – Reading Region" project, a festive event titled “ReadABookBeInTrend” was held at the Library and Information Center of M.Kh. Dulaty Taraz University, dedicated to the National Book Day. During the event, a literary meeting took place between students and the poetess Gainy Alimbekkyzy, titled “The World of Gainy the Poetess.”
