The main tasks of the digitalization and IT sector:

• support and development of the MegaPro system
• backup copying of electronic documents;
• digitization of valuable, rare books and documents, works of the teaching staff in conjunction with the sector of coordination of the database with the complianceof copyrights;
• accounting of documents transferred to the digital system;
• processing of electronic documents that have been transferred to a digital system to replenish the library fund;
• provision of information, use, storage in the library and information center in an automated manner;
• technical support of the website of the library and information center;
• providing information and supplementing the content of the website of the library and information center;
• development of the local computer network of the library and information center;
• storage, provision of electronic document formats;
• formation of various versions of e-books (pdf, djvu, rar);
• backup copying of electronic documents;
• development of program recommendations, advertising tools for the library (booklets, guidebooks, stands);
• carrying out preventive measures in computer technology;
• development of a computer communications system in all departments of the library and information center;
• introduction of new innovative technologies in the library process;
• system support of the server in cooperation with the Center for New Information Technologies.
