- Control over the content and quality of the general database of the EC of the Library and Information Centre, as well as the provision of personal assistance;
- Checking and correcting bibliographic records on all databases in accordance with interstate standards
- Improvement and development of the subject heading and keyword dictionary
- Development of full-text databases (electronic catalog and purchased full-text database)
- Translation of the most valuable and rare books, documents into a digital copy in compliance with copyright;
- Digitization of articles and works of the academic staff of the Taraz Regional University on the pages of periodicals
- Digitization of teaching staff works and development of the university repository.
